A stag leaps and frolics among the flowers on this small, vintage 1980s Greek porcelain pouring pitcher from Neofitou Keramik in Faliraki, a seaside resort village on the island of Rhodes,. The flowers are poppies, especially the characteristic local red poppies, but also are painted in yellow, blue, and purple, with black, stylized stems and leaves. Handmade and painted, with a unique fluted spout and an elegant, decorated handle, this is a beautiful object for your table that is also functional, whether you use it as a cruet for olive oil or vinegar or as a receptacle for a few choice flowers. Pitcher/vase is 7" in height and length, and is 4" wide. Weight before packing is 10 oz. Item is in excellent vintage condition and is free of defects.
