The Leofoto LX-224CT Urban Series Travel Tripod with Ball Head offers practical features in a highly portable design, making it ideal for travelling photographers. With a load capacity of 8 kgand a height range of 18 cm to130 cm, its reversible leg design enables it to fold down to just 14.56", while lightweight materials keep its weight to a mere 1.12 kg.

Legs

The legs are constructed from 10-layer carbon fiber with anodised aluminium hardware for lightness and durability, maximising portability for travel and transport. Twist locks help you find the perfect length for each leg, and semi-automatic flip locks for angling at either 85, 55, or 25° ensure you can find the most stable setup to get your shot. One leg also features a rubber grip for easier handling and carrying.

Center Column

The center column can be removed and inverted to find different angles that suit your needs, whether you need to get lower to the ground or angle higher up. The center column can also be removed entirely and replaced with the included short center column. For the lowest possible angle, the short column can be attached while the legs are fully deployed for stable shooting close to the ground.

Base

The base features a reversible threaded screw that can be switched between 3/8"-16 or ¼"-20, making it easier to fit and switch between heads or cameras of your choice. A built-in accessory port accommodates a wide range of additional pieces of equipment.

Ball Head

The ball head features 360° rotation, laser engraved index marks, independent panning lock, ball lock with tension control, and bubble level; all of which make it perfect for precision control and adjustment. The Arca-type quick-release plate utilises a 3/8"-16 mounting screw for wide compatibility, and the screw clamp makes it easy to attach and detach the plate when swapping your camera or other equipment.
