INTRODUCTION

The Episcopal Church of South Sudan (ECSS) is one of the 42 Provinces of the Anglican Communion, serving millions of believers across South Sudan through ministry, peacebuilding, humanitarian action, education, environmental stewardship, and sustainable development initiatives. Led by The Most Rev. Dr. Justin Badi Arama, Archbishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan, the Church continues to play a significant role in spiritual growth, reconciliation, nation-building, and community transformation. The Church serves communities across the country through dioceses, parishes, schools, youth ministries, women fellowships, environmental programs, and humanitarian outreach initiatives.

Our Internal Provinces

Western Equatoria Internal Province

Eastern Bahr el Ghazal Internal Province

This province actively supports community development, youth empowerment, education, and sustainable livelihoods while strengthening faith and social cohesion across the region.

Northern Bahr el Ghazal Internal Province

Northern Bahr el Ghazal Internal Province focuses on pastoral ministry, peacebuilding, humanitarian outreach, and supporting resilient communities in both rural and urban areas.

Eastern Equatoria Internal Province

Blessed with diverse landscapes and agricultural potential, Eastern Equatoria Internal Province promotes environmental stewardship, sustainable farming, education, and peaceful coexistence.

Central Equatoria Internal Province

As one of the most active provinces in administrative and community engagement, Central Equatoria Internal Province plays a major role in leadership, development programs, peace initiatives, and church growth.

The Archdiocese of Juba
