The ECSS Environmental Network, established by Archbishop Justin Badi Arama, addresses climate change and its impact on agriculture and communities in South Sudan.

As a registered National Non-Governmental Organization, ECSSEN focuses on empowering communities through sustainable practices and promoting responsible stewardship of God’s creation.

The Birth of ECSSEN

In March 2023, the Archbishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan founded the ECSS Environmental Network in response to the urgent climate crisis affecting communities.

Since its inception, ECSSEN has fostered environmental awareness and sustainable practices, uniting communities in a collective effort to address the challenges posed by climate change.
